How to verify that a message from Freshy is legitimate

If you ever receive a message that appears to be from Freshy and you are unsure whether it is authentic, please use this guide to verify it.

How Freshy may contact you

Freshy communicates with clients through a small set of official channels.

For website help, support, and general questions

Please contact support@freshysites.com or submit a request through our support form.

For billing, invoices, payments, and account questions

Please contact billing@freshysites.com.

For domain and DNS access requests

In some cases, our team may ask you to share registrar or DNS access with domains@freshysites.com.

For active projects

If you are already working with Freshy on an open project, you may also hear directly from your assigned Project Manager or Account Manager using their individual @freshysites.com email address.

By phone

You may also call 607-238-2789 and leave a voicemail for the appropriate department.

Official Freshy email addresses and domains you may see

Below are the Freshy-controlled email addresses and domains that clients may legitimately see or interact with.

@freshysites.com

This is our primary company email domain and the main domain our team uses for client communication.

Examples include:

kb.freshysites.com

This is Freshy’s official client knowledge base.

freshysites.com

This is Freshy’s primary website.

freshy.press

In some cases, you may see admin@freshy.press.

This address is used by Freshy as an administrative address for WordPress-related access and site administration. For example, we may ask you to add admin@freshy.press as an administrator on a website when we are helping with a migration, support request, or website setup.

wp.freshy.email

Some client websites use Freshy-managed email sending infrastructure for website-generated emails.

Because of that, you may sometimes see a Freshy-controlled sending domain related to wp.freshy.email in technical email headers or system-generated email activity tied to your website, such as form submissions, password resets, new user registration, etc.

Other Freshy-controlled domains you may occasionally see

In rare situations, Freshy may use other Freshy-controlled domains for specific systems or tools.

Examples may include:

  • send.freshysites.com for Freshy website-related sending infrastructure (from our contact and approval forms)
  • freshysites.info for certain marketing-related sending connected to Mailchimp

These are still Freshy-controlled domains, but if you are unsure whether a message is legitimate, please verify with us before taking action.

What Freshy will not do

Freshy will not contact you from an unknown or unofficial email address and ask you to take urgent action without a clear business reason.

Freshy would not send official client communications from free email providers such as:

  • @gmail.com
  • @yahoo.com
  • @hotmail.com
  • other personal or free mailbox domains

If you receive a message that claims to be from Freshy but comes from a free email address, treat it as suspicious.

Important note about lookalike domains

Even if an email does not come from a free email address, you should still be careful.

Some spammers and phishing attempts use domains that look very similar to a legitimate company domain.

For example, they may:

  • swap one letter for another
  • add or remove a character
  • use a different domain ending
  • create a domain that looks close to freshysites.com   at first glance

Always compare the sender’s address and domain carefully against the official list in this article.

When in doubt

If you are ever unsure whether a message is really from Freshy:

  1. Do not click links or reply right away.
  2. Do not send passwords, payment information, or access details.
  3. Email support@freshysites.com to verify the message.
  4. Or call 607-238-2789 and leave a voicemail for the appropriate department.

We would always rather verify a message for you than have you deal with a phishing attempt.

Short version you can remember

If a message does not match those channels, or if something feels off, please contact us before taking action.
